Why is my Recent or X number of battles missing ?

Wottactic can only start building a history when a player is first discovered. Chack back later and more and more historic data will be available.

How are clan stats calculated ?

Clan stats are the average of the stats of their players. This means it does include battles they may have played in their previous clans. However it should give a very good estimate of a clan's skill level.
